For over 20 years, The Friends of The Kleberg Public Library have been providing continued support for vital programming and services that reach hundreds of local and non-local residents each year at The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library. Established in 1987 as a fund-raising non-profit organization, The Friends provide support for library collections, daily operations that include the preventive maintenance of our library technology and funds for books and special programs that happen year round. The Robert J. Kleberg Public serves Kleberg county and Surrounding Areas that encompass over 35,000 residents and with funds from their membership dues, bookstore revenue, donations and grant awards, they have been able to help see the successful outcome of many of the projects that the library has undertaken to help keep us up-to-date in the ever-changing, fast-paced, library world!
